The Story
I am Kaylin Meck, writer/creator of The Meck House Blog. I am a mom of three who lives in a small Iowa town. My husband, Carl, and I are high school sweethearts who've been together for 15 years and married 9. We have an *almost* 7 year old girl, and two boys, ages 5 and 7 months! My kiddos are my entire life and after working as a full-time elementary school teacher for 5 years, I have decided to take time off to pursue grad school and stay-at-home momma life.
So what will you find here on this blog? Even though I am home now, I still have "teacher" etched in my bones. So expect to find plenty of easy & fun at-home activities for your family. You will also see the daily grind of mom life (because let's be honest this mom gig can get real hectic), homemaker videos, and family travel tips. I know a lot right? I should have just said, "my life". Ok here it is, you will find my life here on this blog. 😉
Meet the Fam
I know, I know this is the most NON-Instagram-worthy photo of all time. Listen, I used an iPhone and my mother-in-law did her best. Honestly, it just goes to show that not every family can get those professional shots on vacation.
