What We Are Reading: This week's library picks May 2022
Welcome back to, "What We Are Reading". We made a trip to the library on Monday and picked out a few new books. These are books geared toward 3 and 5-year-olds (as that is how old Bubs and Sofie are). Hopefully, this post will give you some ideas for the next time you make it to the library or bookstore!
Note: all books are linked to Google. This is just in case you want to see more about the book and where you can find it. It is not an affiliate link.

I little about our Library Trip
If you saw my first "What We Are Reading" blog post, you already know that we only go to the library every 2-3 weeks. I did stop back after 1 week with Sofia this time around, which I'll explain later. But for the most part, we stick to the 2-3 week schedule. Because of this, our book hauls are pretty big! This week we walked away with 7 books! A lot of the books are bug-themed. I have a few bug activities planned for the kids this week so I suggested they look for bug books that interest them. Sofie found 2 books on bugs and bubba found 1. Read below to see what each child picked out.

Bubba's Picks (Age 3)
This week I helped Bubba find a few of his books. I thought an "I Spy" would be fun for him so I showed him the section and he picked one out. I am so excited to try it out with him! Here are all the books Bubba chose. 👇🏼

The Very Ugly Bug by Liz Pichon
PJ Masks Into the Night to Save the Day by Cala Spinner
Sofia's Picks (Age 5)
This week Sofia grabbed all picture books. She loved the Unicorn Diaries from our last visit so much that we had stopped last week to get more. We got through those and for now, she wanted something different. She had been eyeing the Vampirina Ballerina for weeks, so I was glad she finally decided to snag it.

Uni the Unicorn and the Dream Come True by Amy Krouse Rosenthal
Bye-Bye, Big Bad BullyBug by Ed Emberley - we read this one already, it's funny!
Snail Crossing by Corey R. Tabor - we've read this twice since Monday, very cute read! The kids love this one.
What are you reading right now? Children's books or Adults, I would love to hear about them. Let me know in the comments or on my Instagram post!
